Hi Diane, Thank you for your email. The Suggested Monthly Plan is an instructional tool that does stay the same all year. Its purpose is to give a suggested implementation of the curriculum's monthly unit, core materials and pre- and post-assessments. It is designed to suggest a routine with the activities provided within Unique Learning System. While the unit topic changes from month-to-month to address content standards, the format of the activities (lesson #) represented remain the same. Hope this information was helpful, Amanda |

Diane, There is one exception to the unit lessons staying the same from month-to-month, and that is the Holiday unit. The Holiday unit provided is a supplemental (free) unit beyond the eight regular yearly units. The holiday unit is reduced in scope but does include basic reading, writing and math activities. We have expanded this unit from previous years to address Social Studies standards in each grade band, however, the activities do not follow the exact order of the eight regular units. Please remember that the Holiday unit does not include pre- and post-assessments. Thank you, Amanda |
